Female contaceptives
Conception/Female contaceptives include all contraceptive methods for women* that are used in order to prevent pregnancy. There are different types of contraception, such as barrier methods (e.g. femidoms), hormonal methods (e.g. the pill) and intrauterine methods (copper IUD). We explicitly attribute the term contraception to women because they receive sperm via sexual intercourse and thus pregnancy can occur. For men, we refer to โprocreationโ in terms of contraception.
